Armando Gonzalez, CEO of RIZE™ Fighting Championship
Armando Gonzalez, born in Costa Rica in 1970, is the CEO and President of RIZE Fighting Championship LLC. With a background in Chinese Kempo Karate and a successful career as a kickboxer and boxer, Armando transitioned into business at a young age. After selling his first meat distribution company, he founded Beeper Headquarters, which became highly successful and was later sold to a larger competitor. His entrepreneurial journey continued in the nightclub industry in the mid-90s.
Driven by his passion for martial arts, Armando launched Underground Cage Fighting LLC in 2018, hosting successful MMA events and earning "Promoter of the Year" honors in just its first year. In 2020, he rebranded the company to RIZE™ Fighting Championship LLC to focus on developing amateur fighters and creating new champions. Despite challenges from the COVID pandemic, RIZE™ resumed successful events in Florida and expanded nationally. With strong international connections, Armando is positioning RIZE™ to become a global leader in combat sports, as MMA continues its rapid growth.
